Bamboo Island in Krabi  or Koh Phai is a small island located in North part of Phi Phi Island. The Island is under control of Administration of Nopparat Thara – Phi Phi Islands National Park

There is a tourist service point on the island , restaurants, restrooms and a camping ground. Including a tent of the park to serve those who want to stay on the island. But have to prepare your own food and drinking water.

This island is a favorite of many people, it is quiet here, not as busy as other islands.The island is suitable for beach walks, swimming, photography and snorkeling which has a variety of corals. You will fully absorb the atmosphere of the wind, sun and sea and you could walk fairly far for photo shoot along on the beach, rock and much more serene.

If you interested to come to photo shoot on Bamboo island you can buy one day trip package tour from Krabi, Phuket or Phi Phi ,But we recommend you to full day charter long-tail boat or Spees boat from Ton sai bay, Phi Phi island to photo shoot in Bamboo island because besides Bamboo Island, we can stop and take photos at many spots around Phi Phi Island, You can contact us to design and plan photography trip at Bamboo island for you.

Good times for photography on Bamboo or Koh Phai are 8am-12.00 and 3pm-5pm. in period without monsoon Around November – April of every year
